Construction Defect: Crushed Piping
The
photo above shows a copper pipe that was crushed during an
early phase of construction -- just before the foundation was
poured.
Unfortunately,
the pipe was not repaired or replaced -- the defect was simply covered
over and the concrete foundation slab was poured on schedule (see photo below).
Construction defects such as this are a common occurrence that
often go uncorrected.
