Hurricane
(Storm) Damage
As
we've learned from the recent devastation of Hurricane Floyd,
no home is impervious to storm damage. The chimney
"box" in the photo above was toppled by extreme wind
gusts and improper building practices (no visible
hurricane-resistant tie-downs/connectors were installed in
order to secure this chimney to the structure). In
addition to the chimney damage, broken and missing roof tiles
must also be replaced, as well as any mitigating water damage
to the interior of this home.
