Hurricane
(Storm) Damage
As
we've learned from the devastation of recent hurricanes,
no home is impervious to storm damage. The tree in the photo above was toppled
onto this Central Florida home located more than 100 miles
inland from Hurricane Floyd raging along the Atlantic Coast.
Extreme wind
gusts from hurricanes and tornadoes also cause property damage
due to flying debris and building materials. Extreme
flooding conditions from heavy rains and storm surge is
another formidable threat brought on by hurricanes.
